Delhi…Changing ME??

Delhi…Changing ME??
It was quite confusing 8 months back when I thought of staying in a PG with 12 girls.
I dint know how will it turn out to be?
The first day I entered the PG , I was quite desperate to go back to my life in Mumbai.I had been living in an independent apartment there. This is quite a new experience in comparison. For previous two years and half ,I had lived like a guy. Truly Bachelor’s apartment. No time for proper meals.Randomly placed things in house.Gymming and bike travel being my favourite sports.
Delhi feels a complete change over. I find girls in other rooms shouting at the top of their voices sometimes.Sometimes parading in their new dresses before the mirror.Talking abt skin care. Soaking cereals for breakfast. Salad diets are unimaginably shocking to me as compared to the strict non vegeterian diet I had. “Malling” (going to malls and window shopping, as I call it) seems to be a better sport.Though I dint approve of the Typical Delhiite attitude. I am amazed by their life style. The girls seemed to be preoccupied with their dressing, grooming and other things. I couldn’t resist imagining - Poor husbands/boyfriends slogging in offices, day and night to earn!!… But alas I amn’t immune to it.It seems real fun to me as well.It is said “Jaisa Des waisa bhesh”.I think I am adapting quite well to this place. Now a days I can be seen more often in boutiques and parlors. Discussing whats in and wats out for hours with my roomys. Watching Romantic soaps in tv,eating Chocolate chip muffins .Though my expenditures have gone pretty high but it seems worth trying. After all you got to prove the girl spirit in you. Atleast I wont hear the guys as usual telling me “..Yaar aaj koi ladki nahi dikh rahi hai….” So cheers, the Womanhood!!
